The answer is a question about your skills — like being asked about a skill you're most confident in. Questions about family plans, marital status, or age are off-limits.
Interviewers are allowed to dig into your qualifications and how you'd perform on the job. What they can't legally ask about are protected-class topics — kids or plans to have them, marital status, and age all fall into that category and shouldn't come up in a legitimate interview.
