The answer is phenolics. Tuberculocidal disinfectants, the ones proven to kill TB, typically fall into this class.
Quats are common and effective for everyday shop sanitation, but they're not the category tested against TB the way phenolics are. Sanitizers and antiseptics are different tiers entirely — sanitizers reduce germs to a safe level, and antiseptics are formulated for skin, not tools.
